Ambuyat~

What is ambuyat?

Ambuyat, is a gluey "porridge" with sago starch. It's using a pair of chopsticks cut from the rib of the sago palm to twirl it up into a sticky mass for dunking in a tasty sauce.


The first time I tired it, I had to eat a lot of sambal belacan to cover up the unfamiliar smell and taste of ambuyat. Haha.

Should make my mum try this.

Baking cupcakes~

I love baking. Yesterday, I baked cupcakes. Together with Eva and Ayno. Was just trying out some ideas we had. This was our first attempt. It might not look very pretty but it sure tastes nice. And we had lots of fun~!! Here's some pics of the process.

Cupcakes.Cupcakes.I Love Cupcakes~

Just awhile ago, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to order cupcakes from Malacca coz she's coming back to Miri on the 19th. Yeah~!! Cupcakes~!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE cupcakes. Not only cupcakes. I love cookies, cakes and oh so much more~!! anything that we can have for desserts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE~

One day, I hope to open up my own shop selling all those things. Baking is my passion, eating all those is also my passion. Hehe.

But before that, I should go for all those decorating class. To learn on doing the icings, toppings and all those. Hurm ... maybe 1 day owh?

Yum yum~ I can't wait for my cupcakes to arrive~ Don't worry, I'll show u all how the cupcakes looks like later. I'll take pics of my cupcakes before I eat them. Hehehe. (kejam alu jak bunyi)

Zaika

Last nite, went for dinner at Zaika with some friends. It an Authentic North Indian Cuisine restaurant. The food there was ok. But yet, some of my friends din really liked it. I think it depends on individually preferences. When I was little, one of my bestie was an Indian. I used to spend every Monday at her place and her mum will whip up delicious Indian foods for lunch. I LOVE her cookings. So, I think that last nite's food at Zaika was just nice.

There were 8 of us and we had the VIP room. Luckily~ Coz we were quite noisy. Haha. The decor was nice, service was friendly .. and we saw 1 of lecturer having dinner there as well. Her table was right next to our door. Haha.

Owh, I forgot to tell you all. Better get ready lots of $$$ if you're planning to have dinner there. Our bill last nite gave us a heart attack. RM329.15~!!! That is without the tax and service charges. After adding the tax and service charges, our bill was RM359.15. Huhu .. *sadsad* But nevermind, we had fun last nite.
